I'm experiencing the same issues described in
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=361664

Access to git.eclipse.org via ssh is intermittent and often times out. Now it is completely blocked. Trying via ssh I consistently get network errors. Also wondering if my address is being blocked from accessing eclipse.org over ssh.

My IP: 155.98.68.28

Traceroute is attached.

I've pulled the block. Looks like a mis-typed password and auto-retry on your client are what got you locked out.

Still getting the same when I try to clone org.eclipse.ptp.git

ssh://ahumphrey@git.eclipse.org/gitroot/ptp/org.eclipse.ptp.git: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out

Same scenario. I've cleared the block.

Thanks for your time and apologies for the repeated issues here.

I'm now simply trying to push a commit and still get:

An exception occurred during push on URI ssh://ahumphrey@git.eclipse.org:22/gitroot/ptp/org.eclipse.ptp.git: An internal Exception occurred during push: ssh://ahumphrey@git.eclipse.org:22/gitroot/ptp/org.eclipse.ptp.git: Auth fail

Any idea what's happening? I need to get this committed for a build. I guess I'm still entrenched in SVN/CVS mentality and need to get more comfortable with Git.

I don't think you need the :22 in the url, but you may want to confirm you can login with ssh first(to make sure your password is ok) and then restart your git client. You could also try cloning the repo via ssh just as a sanity check.
