Description Justin Spadea CLA 2011-11-04 14:04:18 EDT
I open/close projects all the time, and lately closing a project nearly always causes a modal dialog with the progress monitor, but it never closes. Canceling the operation doesn't actually cancel. I can manually close the modal dialog, but the operation still displays as running, and you can't do anything else like save a file.

Even trying to close the workspace has that "waiting for 'Close Project' to complete" so I have to kill the process.

Hi Justin:

I test it in eclipse 3.7.1 and 3.6.2 ,using project org.eclipse.edt.dojo_0.7.0.

Also I have tested in Window and ubuntu OS platform.

But I can't reproduce it.

Could you give some more detail information on this. Or could pack up your workspace for me to see if I could reproduce it?

So far we have some problem when the old workspace was used in new nightly build. I don't if the problem have something to do with it,maybe you could test in a new workspace and give me more information on this.

Thanks
xiaobin.

I still can't reproduce it in 0.7.0.v201111081559. So I will close this defect, if this happens again we could reopen it.
