The MULTI Text is using browser native scrollbars ( ~20px in width/height). With the new default theme (thinner scrollbars) the Text widget size is not calculated properly and horizontal scrollbar is cutoff.

I was wrong - it was not related to scrollbars, but to the new padding used for both SINGLE and MULTI Text. As MULTI Text has a hard coded padding in Text.appearances.js (see Bug 253644) we need to keep this padding (+1px) in sync in the theming.
