I think I've found the problem. There were two "import from nntp" rules in place for the EclipseLink forum.  When a new post was made via the forum, it would get posted to the nntp newsgroup (as expected).  However, the superfluous rule would re-import the nntp message into the forum.

I'm willing to guarantee that this is fixed, or I'll give you your money back  :)
