Import the attached JPA project. Open the eclipselink-orm.xml project and view Entity-Mappings in the JPA Details view. Change the Access type to PROPERTY and you will get an NPE

Verified no NPE error appears when you change the Access to property in the eclipselink-orm.xml. See the link to view test steps for verification.
