EclispeLink added Symfoware Platform with bug 288715
EclipseLink added MaxDB paltform with bug 327778

Also need to add some target servers:
NetWeaver_7_1 was added with bug 307640
WebSphere_7 was added with bug 270479

Given the workaround is so easy, probably not, even though the risk is very low.

Agreed, probably not really worth it for maintenance. we don't give validation errors for these being incorrect
