This fix caused a regression: comparing and replacing with Dates cannot be performed, because dates are not added to the tags tree.

This patch fixes the regression.
Tomek, please ping Steve when you commit, so that he could schedule 3.4.2+ build.

The fix for the regression released to 3.4.x maintenance branch and maps are updated.
