According to the latest comment on the blocking bug (bug 314853, comment 35), support for submodules in JGit is planned for February next year. This makes it unlikely to be part of Orion 0.4. I'll be checking pulse on that bug in case they speed up and add the support earlier. JGit has initial support for submodules now via bug 314853 I will have a look at it in .5, so there is enough time for the new feature in JGit to cool down. I'm sure Kevin will feel more comfortable without feeling my breath on his neck ;) This is not in the .5 plan anymore. The support in JGit is ready, but there is no time to work on that in Orion.
