Created attachment 205775 [details] call tree with time spent org.eclipse.egit_1.2.0.201110222014 After working for a while, every Save operation in a Java editor takes about 8 seconds now. That's unusable. I'm working in the eclipse.jdt.ui repository, and I have one Synchronization open in the Synchronize view that compares the current branch to the master branch (about 20 changed files). I'm attaching a trace that shows that all of the time burned in the UI thread is in org.eclipse.egit.core.synchronize.GitSubscriberMergeContext$2.resourceChanged(IResourceChangeEvent)
