The generated template includes two copies of initialize() with distinct signatures and so user code may need to be duplicated or factored out into a shared routine.

Suggest: introduce a postInitialize() that is called at the end of initialize() so that the user only has to override once for any number of initialize signatures.

A fix has been contributed on HEAD and R3_2_maintenance, it will be available in 3.2.1 and 3.3.0
