Description Ed Willink CLA 2011-10-22 16:02:54 EDT
Just been trying to work out why I have strange blue boxes on my screen. Thought I had a virus.

a) Notification doesn't mention it is an Acceleo notification.
b) Notification doesn't identify the result.
c) Notifications are transient.
d) Notifications are not integrated into Eclipse; should be in a Notifications View.
e) Behaviour should default to existing behaviour; notifications disabled.

All in all I think this is a really bad facility. It's the wrong solution to the wrong problem.

Notifications can be disabled from preferences. They do indicate that they come from acceleo (though that could have been changed since this report).
