when i'm trying to uninstall just installed software components, i face next error:

An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.ui.model.InstalledIUElement cannot be cast to org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.ui.model.AvailableIUElement

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download new eclipse and install (you could try on your current version, but i downloeded new one, so, i'm describing it). Install any software, for example from here http://ascape.sourceforge.net/eclipse
2. restart eclipse as recomended
3. go to installed software, choose installed components (Ascape) and try to uninstall them.

Matt, this appears to be a duplicate of bug 348986. Did the fix for bug 348986 make it into 3.7.1 or was it a victim of the tagging issues and didn't get in?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
