Description Malgorzata Janczarska CLA 2011-10-14 09:06:06 EDT
Steps:
1. Create a project.
2. Share it in a module, so the path to the project is like 'CVSROOT/TestModule/TestProject'
3. Tag a project
4. In repositories view clear versions cached for TestModule
5. Refresh TestModule versions

IS: TestModule doesn't contain any tagged projects, although you can see the tag in repository view
SHOULD BE: TestModule contains folder TestModule tagged with TestProject in it

A step towards solving this problem was made in bug 339990. Before it was fixed tagged projects were never shown in repositories view and now they are added to cache when tagged, but they are still not retrieved from the repository.
Comment 1 Malgorzata Janczarska CLA 2011-10-14 09:08:50 EDT
The root cause of this problem is that we are checking for tags for .project only in the top module directory. If we have projects in subdirectories of the module then there is no .project file in the module and maybe we should propose to search deeply.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
