Open the orion editor on a file that does not exist, like:

http://orion.eclipse.org/edit/edit.html#/file/j/blort.txt

You get an error message in the browser:

An error occurred: undefined

The console says:

Error loading file metadata: undefined

It should have a friendlier message indicating the file was not found.
