I wanted to switch from Eclipse 3.6 to 3.7. I had no problems in 3.6 with my proxy. Im behind a company proxy. Eclipse 3.6 identified my native proxy settings correctly. 
After I unzipped 3.7 and trying to install new plugins I got the following errors, no matter which update sites Im trying. Just update sites in the company network are working:

HTTP Server Unknown HTTP Response Code (-1):http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/content.xml
HTTP Server Unknown HTTP Response Code (-1):http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/content.xml
General connection error with response code=-1

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Unzip Eclipse JEE Indigo
2. Start Eclipse
3. Trying to update(install new) plugins via "Help > Install new Software"

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
