Description DJ Houghton CLA 2011-10-11 15:52:15 EDT
Eclipse EGit	1.2.0.201110110920
Eclipse SDK	4.2.0.I20111007-1625

- I had multiple projects from multiple repositories populating my workspace.
- I was dealing with the R3_7_maintenance branch in all repos
- made changes to 2 projects from 2 different repositories (org.eclipse.equinox.preferences from rt.equinox.bundles and org.eclipse.core.resources from eclipse.platform.resources)
- committed the changes to my local repo
- in the Package Explorer I right-clicked on org.eclipse.equinox.preferences and chose Team -> Advanced -> Tag and entered R37x_v20111011.
- it tagged the repository and when I look at the History view, the tag is associated with the commit
- then I went to the Package Explorer view and right clicked on the org.eclipse.core.resources project to perform the same action.
- in the resulting dialogs when I entered the tag, it said that tag already existed
- I figured ok, someone else tagged earlier today and used R37x_v20111011-1530

But when I checked the History view, both tags are associated with the equinox.bundles repository and the platform.resources repository is not tagged at all.

I exited Eclipse and came back in and then was able to tag correctly.
