Currently when the user drags a node from one location to another in a diagram, only an outline of the item is displayed during drag. For my uses this single missing feature is one of the main barriers to using any of the GMP toolsets. Perhaps there is already a simple way to implement but I haven't seen it in any of the examples.

This is Not Set possible but sounds like a very resonable request.

Just a note that Zest seems to handle this quite well with good performance, so it might be worth taking a look at that. Though that is GEF based but I believe that your graph stuff has specific GEF and/or GMF dependencies. I'm going to create a parallel enhancement request on the GMF side.
