I was not able to reproduce the problem using recent 1.1 build, so I assume it is not caused by m2e. You appear to be using m2e-wtp integration, so I suggest you report this problem to https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/MECLIPSEWTP Reported as https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/MECLIPSEWTP-191. The solution is to use a newer version (2.1.1 instead of 2.0) of the maven-war-plugin. |
