There is no tooltip for Commit on the Git Status page. It should say something like "Record changes from the index in your active branch".

fixed with 29f176e2b5a1d57ccbfd88201d95dca79c5ef969.
"Record changes in the active branch"
Also added amend tool tip : "Amend last commit"
