UTF-8 characters in the names are not being imported properly.  Here is one example that I needed to import manually:

If I update the name manually (UPDATE fud_users SET name = (SELECT realname from bugs.profiles WHERE ....)) the import is OK...   PHP must be adding some character conversion in the Bugzilla auth plugin.

This was addressed long ago.
