Custom multiplicities (such as 3..8) are not displayed in the property view.

The ComboViewer doesn't seem to handle custom values (Editable Combo), and resets the value each time the #refresh() method is called.

We need to rely on the Combo instead of the viewer, and to be careful when we call the #refresh() method (i.e. save the current value, refresh, and restore the value). The #refresh() method is still necessary when changing the ContentProvider.
