great Aaron! I'll start the CQ for this shortly :) CQ5681 ok, while this is approved, I don't know that I'll actually be able to bring this in anymore... originally I had thought this was going to have synergy with the existing jetty-http-spi module but they work off of completely different underlying dependencies. To do this I would have to open CQ's for all these dependencies below (which admittedly we already have 2) and babysit them through the CQ process, and then transform them into osgi bundles and get them shepparded through orbit and I am just not feeling the love for getting all that done. [DEBUG] javax.xml.ws:jaxws-api:jar:2.2.8:provided [DEBUG] javax.xml.bind:jaxb-api:jar:2.2.4:provided [DEBUG] javax.xml.stream:stax-api:jar:1.0-2:provided [DEBUG] javax.activation:activation:jar:1.1:provided [DEBUG] javax.xml.soap:saaj-api:jar:1.3.4:provided [DEBUG] org.glassfish:javax.annotation:jar:3.1.1:provided [DEBUG] javax.jws:jsr181-api:jar:1.0-MR1:provided so terribly sorry but I don't think I'll be getting this into jetty eclipse anytime soon... I dropped the ball on this and should have investigated much deeper on the dependencies originally. If there is interest we could get it into jetty codehaus but it would be better to have someone willing to maintain it there so let me know if there is interest in that. cheers, jesse we have dropped the SPI bits from jetty-9 and this was difficult to mesh into the existing http spi so it never made it in, sorry about that but thank you for the contribution! |
