Description Ed Willink CLA 2011-10-03 01:41:12 EDT
UML2 Codegen depends on EMF Codegen [2.7.0,2.8.0) which excludes the prevailing EMF version.
Comment 1 Kenn Hussey CLA 2011-10-03 09:29:20 EDT
This version restriction is/was intentional because of the close relationship between the two code generators. I assume you're hitting this because you're trying to use an older UML2 (3.x?) with a newer EMF (2.8?). The version dependencies of UML2 Juno builds (e.g., 4.0 M2a) line do line up...
Comment 2 Ed Willink CLA 2011-10-03 10:11:27 EDT
CVS has the problem and there is no mdt/ocl.eclipse.uml2.git yet, so I've no idea where the correct Juno version is.
Comment 3 Kenn Hussey CLA 2011-10-03 11:10:49 EDT
Ah, the CVS codebase is essentially obsolete and will be made read-only after SR2. The git repository for UML2 can be found at /gitroot/uml2/org.eclipse.uml2.git.

That's inconsistent with most of the Modeling GITs that are at project/org.eclipse.component.git. Might be a good idea to rename now.
