Good pickup, note that at least it doesn't cause an error dialog... I'll triage this one to Wizards since I think the main issue seems to be that WizardNewFolderMainPage.createFolderHandle(WizardNewFolderMainPage.java:358) isn't trapping the exception from core resources..
