Description Markus Keller CLA 2011-09-28 14:02:12 EDT
AFAIK the properties of a Git repository can currently be configured in 2 ways:

1. Window > Preferences > Git > Configuration > Repository Settings > choose Repository

2. context menu in Git Repositories view > Open Properties View > Edit
(after bug 358908 is fixed)

Both ways are cumbersome and not really Eclipse-style. Best would be the good old "File > Properties" and "context menu > Properties".

The configuration editor is now reachable via File > Properties as
of commit dd932dbc9b886afad13b3cd22fed3832d9fcbda6

Verified in 1.2.0.201111150513.

Looks good except that the dialog title is not correct. Filed bug 363806 to track that.

The fix breaks some of the tests because the menu label got changed. Filed bug 363833 for that.
