When the history view is open and "Link with Editor and Selection" is on an ugly error pop-up is shown whenever a file folder in the .git folder of a Repository is selected in the Repositories View.
A better solution would probably be to clear the history view and only display the message currently shown in the pop-up ("File or folder <xxx> is part of the Repository's Git directory".
The alternative would be to quietly switch the history view into "Repository mode" (i.e. disabling the filter buttons) similar to the current behavior when selecting a Repository node in the Repo View, but I guess users would be confused because they selected some file and will not be able to see any changes ever (note that this works fine when selecting something in the working folder).
