The 'Open' button opens the config file in a text editor, I think the button text could be more clear. The location fields are read-only since it uses configuration paths that are Git defaults and cannot be changed. Couldn't EGit feed the .gitconfig location that I set as user through the UI? Currently I have to do this externally by setting 'HOME' and while I can change the default location for Git repositories I can't do so for the global .gitconfig file. |
