The Java code refers to org.eclipse.equinox.metatype.ExternalMessages but the properties file lives in org.eclipse.equinox.metatype.impl.ExternalMessages.

Updated patch.

Here's an updated patch with the following changes.

(1) I also updated the resource bundle name in LogTrackerMsg.
(2) I added a test for this.
(3) I changed the x-internal directive to x-friends on exported package org.eclipse.equinox.metatype.impl.
