Did you keep the workflow configuration from Bugzilla 3.6.x or did you migrate to the new Bugzilla 4.x workflow? Have you tried refreshing the repository configuration? Created attachment 204016 [details]
Properties of task that doesn't want to submit
I have never touched workflow options in bugzilla before so I did not make any changes from default. I have refreshed the Repository configuration several times now http://bugzillaupdate.wordpress.com/2010/07/06/bugzilla-4-0-has-a-new-default-status-workflow/ So I have the old workflow, after updating and recreating the Task submit succeeds. Update Repository Attriibutes does that for the repository, queries and new tasks, but not for unsubmitted new tasks. Raise new bug for this? To recap what the failure scenario is: * Update Bugzilla 3.x -> 4.x * Create new task in Mylyn An error occurs "There is no status named 'NONE'". To fix the problem: * Refresh repository configuration * Delete and re-create unsubmitted task This time the submission works. Is that correct? We can update the summary and use this task to track the problem with refreshing the configuration for unsubmitted tasks. *** Bug 358825 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** That is correct, though I also feel that connector should work when you have NOT upgraded your workflow,. Or is that a question of Bugzilla setup, more specifically Administration / Parameters / Query Defaults? Name was formerly: Bugzilla connector cannot submit new task to Bugzilla 4.0.2 Lets continue with fixing Update Repository Configuration on unsubmitted tasks. When a new task is created it takes TaskAttributes from the current repository configuration, then after doing update configuration these TaskAttributes are not updated to new values. I was just attempting to record the steps in order to help us reproduce and diagnose the problem the further. *** Bug 375801 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1].
