Description Tristan Faure CLA 2011-09-22 09:22:27 EDT
The create child menu in model explorer only provides creation by type. If the same type of element can be created bellow two different containment relations the user can not choose which one to use.

I suggest modifying the current create child menu to have something equivalent of the default UML editor with sub categories corresponding to the containment relationship.

Hello Tristan,

With the customizable "New Child" feature, planned for the next version of Papyrus, this will be possible (And actually, this is already done on the sandbox, although it is not integrated yet). Is it something you need on 0.8 ? If so, this will require a different development, as the Customizable new child will not be integrated until 0.9.

Is this supported now = bug can be closed?

This has been solved in Luna (1.0.0), I close the task

Sub categories appear only when required (i.e. when a given element can have different roles)
