Description Derek Morris CLA 2011-09-21 05:22:05 EDT
Build Identifier: cdt 7.0

The Instruction stepping mode button becomes (erroneously) disabled if the Debug view is resized so the 'breadcrumb' view is displayed

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a debug session and switch to instruction stepping mode by pressing the button in the Debug view toolbar
2. Resize (shrink) the Debug view so the 'breadcrumb' view is displayed in a single line.
The instruction stepping mode button has become disabled
3. Resize the Debug view so the standard tree view of the stack is shown
The instruction stepping mode button is still disabled. It can only be re-enabled by clicking somewhere in the stack hierarchy

Also happens to me with Eclipse 3.7 on Linux.
Thanks to bug opener, I can now at least work around this to get the button enabled again.

I fixed this bug in CDT by changing the action to listen to active debug context instead of selection.
