Create an EclipseLink JPA project
Create an eclipselink-orm.xml file using the "EclipseLink ORM Mapping File" wizard, select PROPERTY access type and complete the wizard.
You get the attached exception

Verified you can select PROPERTY or FIELD for the access type when creating an EclipseLink orm.xml file and not errors appear. See the link to view test steps for verification.  http://wiki.eclipse.org/Dali_3.0.2
