Now I found the reason: installing jetty from here: http://download.eclipse.org/jetty/7.1.6.v20100715/repository also brings 7.4.2. JARs. Strange. |
I installed Jetty 7.4.2. Then I removed it using the uninstall feature option. Afterwards I installed Jetty 7.1.6. Version 7.1.6 is displayed as the installed version. But my projects in the workspace using jetty (version constraint [7.00, 8.00]) still use the jetty 7.4.2 JARs. PDE Tools Update class path does not help. Starting with -clean does not help. Reload target platform does not help. The only thing that helps is deleting the 7.4.2 jars from disk. Then I get the right classpath (using 7.1.6). But this workaround leads to a broken target platform (reload states missing 7.4.2 jars). Remark: the target platform is the running Eclipse (${eclipse_home}).
