Description Thomas Singer CLA 2011-09-15 09:08:02 EDT
Build Identifier: 3.7.0.v3735b

Please take a look at the attached sample code. If you uncomment this line

//		checkBoxColumn.getColumn().dispose();

and run again, the table header of the remaining column shows the used image.

Reproducible: Always

Could please recode this snippet without Jface ?
not sure it is a bug in SWT or Jface...
Comment 4 Remy Suen CLA 2011-09-28 09:38:26 EDT
I was not able to reproduce the problem on Windows XP. I guess it is isolated to Windows 7.

Snippet showing bug with jface TableViewer

This bug also affects jface TableViewers. Execute the attached snippet and bring up the context menu by right-click on the table columns. If you choose to hide the column "Name" the action performed will be column.dispose(). The image will show up in table header of the new first colum "Male".

eclipse-version used: 3.6.2
plattform: Windows 7 64-bit

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
