Check the attached video to see the flickering of the tooltip, looks like Eclipse can't decide where to put it and alternates between two positions...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a vnc server on a Redhat Workstation 4 machine and connect to it
2. Start Eclipse 3.7.1, move Window to the bottom left corner
3. Create a project with a long name: "A very long name for a project since this name is used in the status bar", click the project to make it's name appear in the status bar
4. Reduce width of Eclipse such that the status bar message is shortened 
5. Try to display the whole status bar message in the tooltip by hovering over the message. Some positions will work fine, others will have trouble

Eric,
I used the VLC player to play the file as-is.
Windows Media Player should be able to play it as well, rename it to a ".avi" extension to help it recognize the extension though !:)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
