The examples refered from http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDO/Hibernate_Store/Quick_Start are not correct. In particular there is a problem with the client (https://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/modeling/org.eclipse.emf.cdo/trunk/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.cdo.examples.hibernate.client/)

BaseTest do not compile.

The problem can be resolved applying the attached patch and inserting " org.eclipse.emf.ecore.change" among the dependencies of the plugin.
