When selecting an element in a diagram the program should immediately highlight/select the appropriate element in the model tree on the left hand side.
In most cases this does not work.
This is an essential functionality for recognizing the element in the model tree.

Beyond the other way round:
how is it possible to find all diagrams in which an element is used?
Could not find any feature/functionality for this...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on element in a diagram
-> element in model tree is not highlighted/selected.

It is quite difficult to model in complex models without having any tracing possibility from the diagram to the model.

The other way round to find the usages of an element in all diagrams, would also be very helpful. But this is not so important than the functionality described above.

Thanks a lot!!

Synchronization between modelexplorer and (current) diagram works as expected, except in the following case:

Bug 360092: [Model Explorer] revealSemanticElement doesn't work with imported package

Synchronization between modelexplorer and (all) diagrams is not supported, and may require a distinct enhancement request.

I close this task.
