Description

The publish dialog should also show the draft comments that are being submitted. By "submit" do you mean committing/pushing a change, or something else? What is missing? Misunderstood the meaning of "submit". Here wer'e referring to submitting a patch set for merge. It would be better to call it "merge" but I gather we don't want that because it isn't consistent w/ Gerrit UI? I think if we do end up supporting a global submit button (see also bug 344108 comment 4) we could consider adding a "merge" check box in the Actions section. Yes, that was the reason. > I think if we do end up supporting a global submit button (see also bug 344108 > comment 4) we could consider adding a "merge" check box in the Actions section. That sounds good to me. I find the submit terminology in Gerrit confusing. +1 for using more clear terminology than is used in Gerrit. "Submit" is overloaded but "merge" seems clear to me. *** Bug 406035 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 415564 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Be it called "Merge", "Submit" or "Let Hell break loose", it is the one-click-does-it-all feature I am craving for. I would consider using this view again if it was present, but right now I stay with Gerrit Web UI :-) Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1]. We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub. [1] https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-mylyn |
