Hello Yufen You're are missing the required TCF feature in your environment (not TMF). TCF (Target Communication Framework) is delivered through CDT. Please use the following update site to get the TCF feature. http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/indigo Just install the "Target Communication Framework (Incubation)" from the CDT's optional features. After installing TCF, the installation of LTTng should work without problems. Let me know how it goes. Best Regards Bernd Jeff told me that there was some confusion with the CDT and they didn't have TCF available for a short while. I'm told this is fixed now. Jeff, is this correct? Build Identifier: I20110613-1736 When trying to install LTTng plugins using nightly builds p2 update site, it fails with errors like below: Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: Linux Tracing Toolkit Integration (LTTng) (Incubation) 0.3.2.201109081805 (org.eclipse.linuxtools.lttng.feature.group 0.3.2.201109081805) Missing requirement: LTTng - Linux Tracing Toolkit (Incubation) 0.3.2.201109081805 (org.eclipse.linuxtools.lttng 0.3.2.201109081805) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.tm.tcf.core 0.4.0' but it could not be found Cannot satisfy dependency: From: Linux Tracing Toolkit Integration (LTTng) (Incubation) 0.3.2.201109081805 (org.eclipse.linuxtools.lttng.feature.group 0.3.2.201109081805) To: org.eclipse.linuxtools.lttng 0.3.0 the TMF plugins from the same update site has version 0.3.2 and not 0.4.0 Tracing and Monitoring Framework (TMF) (Incubation) 0.3.2.201109081805 It seems there is a dependency plugin version miss match. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.add the following URI to the update site list http://download.eclipse.org/technology/linuxtools/updates-nightly 2. uncheck the group items by category (if you check this, TMF plugins do not show up) 3. select TMF and LTTng plugins to install, click next 4. you will see the error message and not being able to continue
