Description waltergr CLA 2011-09-08 02:57:04 EDT
Disabling "Preferences -> PHP -> Debug -> Break at First Line" does not work.

The debugger continues to break on the first line of the source code.

I have restarted Eclipse after changing the setting, and this didn't help. I also verified that there was no manually added breakpoint on the first line of the source code. There was not.

Sorry, I meant to include the full version number but forgot. (I'm hoping this includes the build number. If not, please let me know how to get it.) This is what the install software dialog shows as installed:

PHP Development Tools (PDT) SDK Feature	- 3.0.0.v20110516-1100-77--84_23JBVgSVXO7XGJz0VLa9O

Having used the software a little more, it seems like it *might* be the case that projects created _after_ I unchecked the setting work properly (i.e. do not break on the first source line) but projects created when the setting was still checked do not respond to the setting change.

Since that behavior seems really wrong, I'm assuming it's not by design...

hi,

I know you problem, you need to manually change "Break at First Line" through "Debug Configurations",and then find the project that you do not want to "Break at First Line",and then uncheck it.If you can not find where to change it,I will send you the screenshots.
Comment 7 Zhongwei Zhao CLA 2011-09-12 23:10:30 EDT

Ah, that's probably it. Thanks!

*If you can not find where to change it, I will send you the screenshots.*

No thanks. I've moved on to NetBeans.

*can I close this bug?*

That's fine with me. (But I don't know what your bug closing policies are, so maybe you weren't asking me. :)
