Currently, to turn on line numbers in the EGL Editor I have to go to Preferences > General > Editors > Text Editors.
I'm not sure the EGL Editor is considered a Text Editor.
Anyway, it was more obvious to have it under Preferences > EGL > Editor.

Reproducible: Always

I disagree with this change. Our editor *is* a text editor and we do inherit the settings from the Text Editors preference page. If you look at the preference pages for other editors (like Java), they do not have their own "show line numbers" preference.

We did this intentionally not to duplicate preference settings that already exists in Text Editor. Bug 348217
