This is a known issue, but didn't see a bug report about it. We need to find a way to avoid using a popup shell for login. All the major browsers (Chrome, FF, IE) block popups by default, so the initial user experience is very bad. The browser message saying the popup has been blocked is not always obvious, and goes away by itself after awhile. The user is left with a blank page and no obvious way to proceed. Many users will not be happy having to enable popups for whatever domain the orion server lives on.
