The current "record from SQL database table" wizard has a single checkbox for adding the selected database connection to the deployment descriptor. I don't think this is sufficient since it's very probable the developer will have more than 1 deployment descriptor and it's probably not good to add the resource binding to just the development DD. 

I am imagining a text field at top of the wizard page for the resource binding name (defaulted to the name of the selected database connection) and a checkbox tree showing all EGL projects in the workspace and their DD files. The DDs contained within the selected project (page 1 of the wizard) should be the only DDs checked by default, but the developer can uncheck these and check others. The developer should be able not select any DDs, but still finish the wizard.

For 0.7, let's not attempt to add the database connection info to the DD(s) in the New Record wizard. This means developers will need to add the resource binding manually via the DD editor ...

Note: basic support for creating a resource binding for the selected database is in 0.7 already. This request is to enhance the support to give the developer the ability to choose which DDs to add the binding to and to control whether the settings are copied in or linked (via a workspace:// uri)

Since adding resource binding to more than one DD is one of the requirements, the bug depends on bug 352831
