The database allows creating different versions of a project. But creating a new version lasts very long. Therefore you do not create versions of the db a few times the day. It would be a great support for me if the version control for tests is as flexible as the Eclipse team plugin(s) with its functionality of quick versioning, merging, showing conflicts, revert to a version (very useful because undo in a saved test case is not possible).

I agree that the functionality would be nice, but I can't see it happening without some strategic decisions or a great deal of external support / sponsorship.
