When Search Results are set to show in Vertical ruler (the default setting), the yellow arrows used completely obscure the tiny blue dots used for breakpoints.  The only workaround seems to be to uncheck the "Vertical ruler" setting for Search Results under General -> Editors -> Text Editors -> Annotations.  I first tried the various "Text as" options for Breakpoints on that same page, but neither highlighting nor squiggly lines nor any other option seems to have effect in the PHP editor. I'm guessing breakpoints don't correspond to a character range in the editor for a text highlight to act on?

The breakpoint dot is small enough it could be drawn on top of all other indicators (even red error dots, which are larger) and they would co-exist.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set a breakpoint
2. Run a File Search that will have at least one result on the breakpoint line
3. Yellow arrow appears and completely obscures blue dot

This is a problem in Java as well. Has been for a while, continues in Juno.

Still in 4.9, but nothing new, it was always the case.

The annotation preference can set the color and also to show in vertical ruler or overview ruler. I used to face this problem but I removed the Search Result and Warning annotation from vertical ruler. Can see them in the overview ruler.

General-> Editors-> Text Editors-> Annotation
