Looks like "Overriding managed version" market calculation logic does not respect dependency classifier. In the attached project, for example, module/pom.xml gets the error marker for dependency with classifier=tests even though (implied) classifier=jar is managed in parent/pom.xml.

I'm getting annoyed by the same problem (with ejb/ejb-client). I have a fix almost ready (just need to add some IT)
