Description
Wayne Beaton
This may be harder than I thought. Any modifications that we do in Dash will require that I include Alex's email address in the code. I believe that this is inappropriate at least, and possibly a violation of the Eclipse Foundation's privacy policy. I have manually updated the database, but those changes will disappear the next time the scripts extract the information from the Git repo (i.e. on Sunday night). I believe that we have two options: 1) The Eclipse Foundation infrastructure needs to be updated to track alternative email adresses for committers 2) The project's Git history needs to be re-written. #1 seems like the right option. I'm inclined to move this to Community/Portal. With the fixes on Bug 355885, this issue disappears. Marking as FIXED. Verified. |
