and the reporter has uploaded a file in the forum thread.before fixing the bug,it is very slow when editing the attached file.

The suggested file is no longer available.
I tried with random php file (4000 lines) and the performance behaves satisfactorily.
Please feel free to reopen in case of problem reproduction.
