Description Marcelo Paternostro CLA 2011-08-24 17:12:46 EDT
Allowing the user to choose which control temporarily takes most the UI is very powerful (like the outline|detail arrangement). With that in mind, it would be good if Sapphire could allow us to define that two controls within a composite are separated by a moveable sash (either horizontal or vertical).

An example of a UI that benefits from this support is a table on top of a text, in which the text is used to display information about the selected row.

Tentatively targeting for the 0.4 release.
Comment 2 Konstantin Komissarchik CLA 2011-10-24 22:30:01 EDT
Enhancement implemented. I added a new construct called "split form" that allows either vertical or horizontal orientation and supports arbitrary number of sections.

More information in the enhancements guide for the 0.4 release. Several examples of a split form in the gallery sample.

Please verify.
