Description
Will Smythe
Tutorial should roughly follow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxKTNgoT0cU More details on points to consider covering in the tutorial: * Creating a new EGL CE project * Creating a new RUI handler (with Dojo widgets), visually adding widgets from the * Palette, setting widget properties, and adding event handler functions * Creating a simple (no database access) EGL service * Calling the service (as a dedicated service) from the RUI handler * Previewing and running the app in the VE Preview * Setting breakpoints in both RUI and service code and debugging (end to end) in an external browser * Deploying the app into a dynamic, Tomcat-targeted Web project * Running the deployed app on the server changed from a critical defect to a Priority 1 enhancement, as this is not a code defect. Rolling forward to I-15 Will Smythe handled this: http://eclipse.org/edt/#gettingstarted |
